I bent up some music wire and mixed up some concrete. Tada…… a little torch holder. Now I just need to keep working with it. It’s a little intimidating learning on my own but I’ll get it. Right now I’m mainly playing with adjusting the flames correctly. It’s been pretty cold in my garage so I’m not progressing very quickly.
Hey….Any jewelers or gas welders out there I’d love to hear from you if your familiar with this torch!!! This is the Meco Midget Torch available on https://www.tinmantech.com/ A very versatile torch from everything I have read. Popular with aircraft builders and jewelry makers. Flame can go from real small (#00 tip for jewelry) to pretty big (#7). I unfortunately don’t know what these flame sizes actually are. I’ve mainly played with #0 tip. The cone on it is about a centimeter. The cone is the part of the flame you work with near the tip.
